Therapy for All Fund

About the Fund

At Prismatic Compassion, we believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. Unfortunately, many individuals face barriers to accessing therapy due to financial constraints, lack of insurance, or systemic inequities. These barriers disproportionately affect marginalized groups, including the LGBT2SQIA+ community, POC, ADHD/Autistic folks in burnout, and those living with chronic illnesses.

The Therapy for All Fund is our community-driven initiative to provide subsidized therapy sessions for those who need it most. Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding therapy sessions with our skilled and compassionate therapists.

Together, we can break down financial barriers and create a world where mental health care is accessible to everyone.

Ethical Considerations

The Therapy for All Fund is designed in alignment with the ethical guidelines of the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario). We prioritize:

  • Confidentiality: Client information is kept strictly confidential and is only used for application review purposes.

  • Transparency: Clear policies and processes are in place to ensure fairness and accountability.

  • Impartiality: Decisions are made based on objective criteria, and no funds are allocated to the fund administrator's clients.

  • Equity: Priority is given to underserved and marginalized communities.

*Disclaimer: Charlotte Laws is personally organizing this initiative to support therapy access. Those receiving therapy through this fund will not be clients of Charlotte directly, nor will any Prismatic Compassion clients be pressured to contribute or participate in this fundraiser.*
