I identify as a cis woman who suspects she is ADHD/Autistic and who has chronic health conditions. I have adult children who are neurodivergent, one of whom identifies within the LGBT2SQIA+ community.

Career Path
I have experience working in Community Mental Health and Addictions within Ontario for over 17 years with Adult Case Management and as part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team. Through this work experience, I learned about how to provide trauma-informed support. During my previous career, I also sat on a number of community committees relating to hoarding and homelessness within Simcoe County.
Extra Tidbits about Laura
I live just north of Barrie, Ontario.
I enjoy being in nature, making jewelry and natural products, and visiting interesting places. Two of the favourite places I’ve been to are Salem in the U.S. and Iceland. I’m an animal lover and collector of crystals. One of my favourite shows is Supernatural.
