Who I am

I am a cis woman navigating my own late-in-life understanding of being ADHD and Autistic, alongside managing chronic health conditions. As a parent to neurodivergent adult children, one of whom is part of the LGBT2SQIA+ community. I have a deep, personal connection to the complexities of identity, self-discovery, and advocacy. These lived experiences shape my therapeutic work, fostering a space of understanding, validation, and support for those exploring their own unique journeys.

    MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

    As a holistic life coach, I aim to see you as a whole person as we walk together toward your unique goals and explore any roadblocks that might come up along the way. We focus on where you are at, where you want to be, and how you can get there. Holistic life coaching and somatic coaching are a great fit for those of you working on a situational goal or aspiration.

    I have found that my skills in supporting marginalized communities in my previous role as a Community Mental Health and Addictions Counsellor have provided me with additional knowledge about providing Trauma-informed support.  

    I believe that having a safe space to feel heard and seen is essential during your healing journey.

    I have a passion for holistic wellness. I am a Certified Intuitive Holistic Coach, Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master, Level 2 in Animal Reiki, and a certified Reflexologist and Aromatherapist. I have also taken certifications in somatics.

    I acknowledge that my holistic life coaching, somatic coaching, and online reiki services are not a substitute for therapy, and I refer on when needed.

More About Laura

I have experience working in Community Mental Health and Addictions within Ontario for over 17 years with Adult Case Management and as part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team. Through this work experience, I learned about how to provide trauma-informed support. During my previous career, I also sat on a number of community committees relating to hoarding and homelessness within Simcoe County.

EXTRA TIDBITS ABOUT LAURA

I live just north of Barrie, Ontario.

I enjoy being in nature, making jewelry and natural products, and visiting interesting places. Two of my favourite places I’ve been to are Salem in the U.S. and Iceland. I’m an animal lover and collector of crystals. One of my favourite shows is Supernatural.
